UGCHooks for n8n

The n8n-nodes-ugchooks community node calls the UGCHooks REST API with your own account. Create a batch whenever a new product appears in a sheet, store or CMS, then send the captions and render links on to the next step.

Set up UGCHooks in n8n

  1. Step 1

    Install the node

    Self-hosted n8n: Settings → Community nodes → Install, and enter the package name.

  2. Step 2

    Connect your account

    Add a UGCHooks OAuth2 credential and press Connect. n8n registers itself, opens ugchooks.app and you approve it there. No API key to copy.

  3. Step 3

    Build the workflow

    Use Batch → Create with a product link, then Batch → Get to read the posts. Account → Get returns your credits; Batch → Write Part writes more posts once a batch is unlocked.

  4. Step 4

    Post with UGC API

    To publish, add the UGC API node (n8n-nodes-ugcapi) after UGCHooks and pass it the render links and captions.

Operations

get_profile

Your email and how many credits you have left.

list_batches

Your newest 100 batches, one per product link, with an app link for each.

get_batch

One batch: the product brief, every written post (slides, hook beats, meme captions), caption and hashtags per post, and links to files you saved from the app.

create_batch

Turns a product link into a new batch: a brief plus the first 10 posts. Free, up to 20 links a day, no credits spent.

write_part

Writes the next 10 posts (parts 1 to 9) of a batch you already unlocked in the app.

What it can't do

  • Sign-in is OAuth with your own UGCHooks account; the assistant never sees your password or session.
  • It cannot buy credits, unlock a batch or spend a credit. Unlocking stays in the app.
  • It cannot post. To publish to TikTok or Instagram, connect UGC API (ugcapi.dev) and hand it the render links.
  • Slideshow images and MP4s are rendered in your browser in the app. Only files you saved there have links.

Questions

Does it work on n8n Cloud?

Community nodes appear on n8n Cloud once n8n has reviewed them. Self-hosted n8n can install the package from npm.

Does connecting cost anything?

No. Creating a batch and its first 10 posts is free, like on the site. The remaining 90 posts need the batch unlocked with one credit in the app; the integration can't spend credits.

Can it post to TikTok or Instagram for me?

Not from UGCHooks. Use UGC API (ugcapi.dev), which has its own Claude, ChatGPT and n8n integrations, and pass it the render links from get_batch.

How do I disconnect?

Open ugchooks.app/oauth/mcp/connections while signed in and press Disconnect. That revokes the access and refresh tokens straight away.
